i want america to be part of those jobs. that is why i called for a national effort to train 100,000 excellent stem teachers over the next decade. we are now making progress on that front. today, i am announcing a new competition to train some of our best math and science graduates to become teachers and so more of our classrooms with hand on talent that you see here today. amwill also expand stem ericorps to provide opportunities for low income students this summer. [applause] companies, nonprofits are doing their part. dozens of them are stepping up with new commitments to inspire and help more students learn. so, seven cities are partnering with more than 200 businesses and nonprofit to connect girls and others with mentors. school giving every the opportunity to use it scientific software for free. is partnering. a lot of private sector leaders are involved in these efforts. they have come here today to recruit.
